There is nothing that beats a crisp, clear day in fall.
Shenandoah Big Meadow - everything was just bursting with color this weekend.
I think that the one thing I do not miss at all about Juneau is the fall. Juneau just gets cold and muddy and wet. And this area screams beauty. How could you not enjoy it?
And to top it all off, I won my office football pool for the second week in a row! I am so awesome!

I'm with you on enjoying the autumn... I love pulling out the jackets and sweaters that I missed all summer long.
I visited my sister and nieces in Juneau last fall and it was really stunning. We were told that was pretty flukey, though....

whatever. if you think beautiful colors and lovely weather is nice, that is your perogotive. Personally, I prefer my freezing Canadian fall with snow, leaves all dropping of the tree the same day, and mind numbing cold.
