Weekend Update

This weekend pretty much rocked! The Packers won and after the first five minutes, the game was actually really fun to watch. Then, Dallas LOST, which was the icing on the cake! To be completely honest though I am equally, if not more so, nervous about playing the Giants this weekend. All season I’ve been picturing our triumphant victory in Dallas for the last playoff game of the season. Douche bag Romo runs off the field crying and TO tries to fight Al Harris but gets knocked over by the hordes of people celebrating. Favre’s Dallas curse is broken and we’re off to the Superbowl. It would have been the perfect end to the perfect season.

Now we’re playing a team we don’t know much about. And Eli can be really, really good and that scares me. But I have faith in my team and I will be going ape-shit crazy on my couch this weekend watching the game and getting shit-faced since I don’t have to worry about work on Monday. (Thank you, Martin Luther King, Jr! It’s nice to know you worked so hard and sacrificed so much so that lazy white, black, red, and yellow people can sit on their asses recovering from football hangovers once a year. I am sure that is what you were envisioning in your speech about a dream or whatever.)

Anyway, on a side note about Eli Manning – he totally sucks. Now, I am sure that growing up in your brother’s shadow is no fun, but man, what a mofo. Who seriously tells the Chargers that they will refuse to sign if drafted by them? An arrogant, cocky motherfucker that thinks he’s better than everyone else, that’s who. Apparently when you grow up in a NFL family, you think you are owed something. It’s his loss anyway, because San Diego is gorgeous! AND he could have been playing with my favorite non-Packer player, LaDainian Tomlinson now.

Also this weekend I went ahead with my haircut. Two people at work actually came up to me and told me that they don’t like it. Seriously, who does that kind of shit? Even if you absolutely abhor someone’s haircut, you don’t actually tell them that! The point is - I like it so they can just suck it. It’s definitely a change and I’ve always wanted to be a brunette. There’s no way in hell I’m going to keeping dropping money to keep in brown, but it’ll be fun while it lasts.

The nerve of some people! How rude! I think it looks cute. Oh, and when you work out, you put it in a headband if you can't make a ponytail.

The hair isn't bad. It's your face that needs work.

It's amazing what people will say... sadness. I think you made the right decision to cut your hair. :)

Oh you're killin me with the Cowboy hate. We may not agree about the Cowboys but we do agree upon being amazed that someone would tell you they don't like your hair. No manners.

Who gives a fuck about your hair. Patriots rule, did you know there is a THIRD manning brother?, and I am devestated by the horrible outcome of this years superbowl.
